Historically Doula’s are women who enter into a supportive and uplifting role when families are going through life-changing events. Doula’s that specialize in specific types of support, have training and knowledge in that area (i.e. birth doula, family doula, postpartum doula).

I offer supportive services to all families, not based on race, sexual orientation, gender identity, faith, or culture.* Though all humans have biases and personal experiences that affect how they relate to the world, I am committed to always learning how best to serve each client based solely on their needs, traditions, expectations, family dynamics, faith, spirituality and values.
*Contracts will be terminated immediately if I do not feel emotionally or physically safe. I do not tolerate hate speech towards any person either within the family or beyond

Each client has an opportunity to have a consult to allow BYFD, llc and the client learn more about eachother. Hiring a Doula can feel scary and new. Because I will be in your home during some of your most vulnerable moments. It is important that both of us feel safe, heard and encouraged to be ourselves.

Family Doula services are $30/hr.
All services require a 2 hour minimum per visit and fees paid when cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
Postpartum Doula Services are $35/hr and require a package option in order to best serve the client.
Cancellations are accepted when BYFD is notified more than 48 hours in advance of scheduled session.
BYFD offers a sliding fee scale and can discuss those rates during your consultation zoom call.
