About Me

After many years of juggling cooperate jobs and family growth, I decided to carve out a space in my life where I could be my authentic self, balance work and home life and do what I love - supporting others.

I am a trained postpartum doula, Mother to four living children and one angel. My life journey has had unexpected changes, joyful planned experiences, highs and lows. I am a normal human, just like everyone else, trying to be my best to raise good humans, heal trauma and find joy. In 2023, with support from my husband, I was able to take the leap away from a 9-5 job and into my own business.

This special life opportunity was a culmination of many years trying to juggle work and home life, self-reflection, some loss and new beginnings and the constant question in my head “how can I be more available to my family, while also working outside the home doing something I love?” Viola BE You Family Doula, llc was born! Creating a space for people and families in transition, who need support as they navigate parenting, exploring sense of self while maintaining daily life guides the work I do.

“BE” : Knowing how often we forget how brave we are and that we are actually extraordinary humans.

“You” : We can lose site of ourselves or feel disconnected from our truest self through parenting and life changes.

“Family”: Postpartum experience(s), parenting journey, navigating decisions in an everchanging world, loss, love.

“Doula”: a person trained to provide advice, information, emotional support, and physical comfort to a mother before, during, and just after childbirth. “One who mothers the mother.” General support for family.
